Why is “Ethernet” option of [Advanced] setting in the programming mode of TR4030 not available, so you can’t set IP address with the keypad on TR4030 directly

Take a look at “PART NO” on the label at the bottom of your time recorder. Only “TR4030xx-00” (UDP type) has “Ethernet” option and it allows you to set IP address with the keypad. Your time recorder must be “TR4030xx-10” or “TR4030xx-20” (TCP/IP type) that doesn’t have “Ethernet” option in [Advanced] setting. Use the software DS Manager to set IP address.
